Jack had a particularly bad run of form on the show. In all four teams he was on, he lost. Having been elected project manager for Episode 4's discount buying task, he followed the popular strategy of splitting his team in two and giving the other team the more obscure items. Jack's negotiating prowess came to the fore in getting a bottle of brandy for £4 less than the other team.
Jack's team, however, incurred over £200 in fines, and his poor leadership led to his firing.
